New Site Design

I’m working on a new design for this site. Similar styles, just a wider design for more modern monitors and an update of color & contrast. Feel free to preview the progress, though keep in mind some images and links will not work. I’m currently using ExpressionEngine as my CMS for this site. It works OK, but they are developing a new version and so this one is growing stale. The problem is, I’ve been waiting on the new version for over a year now. I’m toying with the idea of moving everything back to a WordPress install. I’m just not sure if I could get it to do what I want. I really love having the ability to create a ‘weblog’ section for any part of my site and being able to update it separately from the main blog. I also like EE’s gallery and I don’t know if I can find what I want in WordPress. I’ll be looking around at that before I go live.

I’ve been working on commissions and freelance work lately. I have another day here at my job, then I’m on my own. I’ll still be teaching a couple of days a week, but freelance and commissions will have to tide me over until I can find more gainful employment.

I put up some of the commissions I’ve been working on, and I’ll try to get some more posted soon.
