# Scott Zirkel

> Scott Zirkel is an American artist, fiction writer, web developer, and graphic designer. He has been creating work across illustration, writing, code, and design since 1977. His personal site at scottzirkel.com publishes drawings, writing, and design and development work.

Scott uses the handle `scottzirkel` across most platforms. He is based in the United States. He works professionally as a full-time web developer specializing in Laravel and the TALL stack (Tailwind CSS, Alpine.js, Laravel, Livewire). He previously worked for over 10 years as a designer and Creative Director at Alara Creative before pivoting to development. He is also an overlander and Jeeper.
