Busted

I moved the site to a different server yesterday and now none of the pages are working… except the home page. I’m working to fix it… sorry.

You’ll Have That

I didn’t take the time to mention this due to some major stuffs in the works (more later, hopefully) but my buddy Wes Molebash has ended his webcomic You’ll Have That. Wes has kept the wonderful strip running for four years and it has been a consistently funny strip. Sad to see it go, but I understand why. Great job Wes! He’ll be starting a new comic about a boy and a dog next month, so stay tuned for that!

End of the Year update

Sunday, December 28, 2008

So it’s the end of 2008. Had a lot of cool things happen this year. I put out my first sketchbook. I finally got to (almost) publish Wonderdog, a book I’ve been working on for many years. I got to work for LucasFilm on my two favorite movie franchises, Indiana Jones and Star Wars. And I’ve done more commissions than any previous year. So far so good, looking forward to next year!

I don’t have a lot planned that I can really mention here, since most of it is either ‘in the works and under wraps’ or still in my head with no real plan of escape. I can say that I plan on working on Haywire 2. I will also make it a priority to find a home for Wonderdog. I hope to work on more sketch cards. I’d like to put out a sketchbook that will make this years look pitiful in comparison. I have a story for the second Parable anthology and I’d like to do the artwork for it myself, but knowing my schedule, I’ll probably find someone to handle that. We’ll see. If I can do 228 full color sketch cards in three weeks, I guess I can do just about anything. smile

My job is looking precarious due to monetary issues the company is facing, so really, I’ll just be happy working this year. So if anyone wants to commission me, my new rate is one million per sketch card, inked only. One card and I’m done.

So goodbye 2008, hello 2009. A year that is neither prime nor Fibonacci.

Merry Christmas (no offense)

Wednesday, December 24, 2008

Merry Christmas everyone!

If that offends you, I don’t care.

Starting next week I’ll be taking commissions again. Until then I plan on spending time with my family.

The REAL John Williams Tribute

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

I’ve seen a lot of sites linking to this awesome video of a guy singing in four parts a tribute to John Williams. Well, it turns out he was lip synching.

Here’s the real guys who did the entire thing with four cameras in one take.
